Here’s what to keep in mind while travelling overseas from Tanzania

Travelling during the Post-Pandemic Era? Here are few things to note for travelling to different continents, countries from Tanzania.

After nearly a 2-year-long rigorous lockdown due to the Coronavirus Pandemic restricting and nearly shutting down the entire tourism industry, the much-awaited era of reopening of tourist’s destination has arrived and we all can’t wait to go back to the normal world again! But, since the pandemic has given rise to the “New Normal” and travel restrictions to Tanzania has also cooled down, here’s what it means for the Wanderlusts who have already packed their bags!

1. Get Fully Vaccinated

To whichever country you visit, irrespective of its Covid-19 numbers, you must be fully vaccinated, go through all the covid related information before travel and know when to get covid test before traveling. The Travelers will be required to present a valid vaccination certificate with QR code for verification upon arriving the destination. The only accepted vaccines are those which have been approved by the World Health Organization.

2. Follow the Travel Guidelines of the country you are visiting.

Always make sure you go through the official websites of the government of the country you are going to visit, get covid related information before travel and note when to get Covid test before traveling. Ignorance of this can land you in big trouble as some countries require Negative RT-PCR Report valid for 72-Hours along with Fully Vaccination Certificate, some insists the visitors to go through a Rapid Antigen Test on arrival and wait for the results and If you are tested Positive on arrival to any such country, you will have to complete 7 to 15 days quarantine, whereas some countries do not require a Negative RT-PCR Report but Fully Vaccination Certificate.

You can check the Travel Guidelines on the official government websites and social media handles of the respective country you are planning to visit.

3. Mask Up and follow Social Distancing protocols.

Even if a country is recovered from the haunts of Coronavirus, one must not be careless and walk around without masks & avoid social distancing. Always prioritize the safety of the foreign citizens as well as yourself through learning about covid related information before travel and make sure when to get covid test before traveling. You never know what kind of flu would be going on in their country or what if they are more vulnerable to the bacteria you are carrying. Hence, it’s better to brace yourself and stay protected.

4. #TravelResponsibly

Travellers often fall in trouble due to lack of local familiarity, which is why one must always save contact numbers of the local police, hospitals, etc. to be prepared for any mishap. Also, one must avoid accommodating in secluded areas alone by themselves even though how much of an introvert they must be.

5. Practice Hygiene and keep the Surrounding Clean

Not only your own country but please take great care of the cleanliness of the foreign country you’re visiting. Since you are visiting a foreign land, you represent your own country and don’t let its image get worse by littering around and this could also land you in trouble in some countries.

So, as we are fortunately entered in the Post-Pandemic era, we wish all of you a very happy and safe Travel!
